I used to always talk about the genius with some people. What makes up a genius? A genius is one who spends a lifetime doing one thing. When you want to do two things at the same time, you cannot do both of them very well. When you do three things, you will end up as a mediocre person and can’t succeed. My son asked me,"what makes up a genius?"I told him "A genius is do the thing well that you need to do in your life and don’t care about any other things besides this, do not mind other things."Therefore, I have been writing in my lifetime, and I spent twenty years to write a farmer family. I think if I can write it well, I don’t spend my life in vain. Will not live in vain. Therefore I refused to spend my time on any other things. If anybody else likes their lives like me, he/she can be a writer too. Anyone who like me can also become a writer. why? Think about it, anyone focus on only one target and never give up, walking toward to it without any stop and put everything else down, just walking to his/her target, how come can he not be successful?

There is such a story: Chinese policeman goes to Germany to buy police dogs, which play very important roles in inspection of heroin. A police dog was worth one million, another one was worth one hundred thousand. Both of them look no difference and very strong. Chinese police asked, "They look quite similar, why one worthies hundred thousand and another one worthies million?" German said "Wait a minute you'll see." Then, they had an experiment, buried one bag of heroin in a certain place and released dogs .The dogs found the heroin out almost at the same time. Chinese police said, "the same" German said," hold on and see again" Then the second experience begun. They released the dogs. And furthermore a very attractive female dog was released at the middle of the path. The dog of one hundred thousand followed the female dog quickly and forgot about the heroin. But the dog worthy of one million didn’t care about the female dog and moved on with the heroin searching and found it out finally. A Genius was the dog worthy of one million. Two dogs look no difference at all; both very powerful, with a keen sense of smell and both of them have the capability to find the heroin out. I and many of my friends like this. However, I am just the dog persistent in heroin searching, not went after the attractive female dog.

Transcendence is like this. Real transcendence cherishes high aspiration and has a highest realm. You don't think your transcendence, just find a small target, and buy a little house, not like this. The thing we are pursuing can’t be destroyed by time. It is the thing, which still exists, after you die. Is that when you die, you are still have the presence of value. We are in pursuit of this kind of thing. When one’s personality become perfect, he/she will surpass the binary opposition, which is Just like I said, high or low, good or bad, rich or poor...Why? Because these things don’t mean anything, for a core of the meaning of your life. As long as you have a clear mind, hold on with your clear target, then your mind is freed. This freedom is not given by the external world, but is the light from your own mind. What we pursue is like this, we called, out-world law. What is the world law? What is the out-world law, which is transcendence the rules and laws of physical world. The world of law is like, when your body was gone, all of your behavior value disappeared along with it. For example, you are a section chief. But when you die or retired, the position of chief disappeared, the value of it also disappeared; you have struggled to be a country mayor, when you die, it goes, Other people will replace you on that position; You have done lots of efforts to buy a house, after you died, some other people lives in it etc..These are not what we pursue. All the things exists because your physical body exist, which we call world law. The out-world law what we pursue is that, the value of your behave sill exits, after your physical body doesn’t exist anymore.

有这样一个故事：中国的警察到德国购买能缉查海洛因的警犬。一条警犬值一百万，另一条警犬值十万。它们长得都那样肥肥壮壮，非常威猛。中国的警察就问，它们看起来都差不多，为什么一条值十万，一条值一百万？对方说等一会儿你就知道了。于是，他们做了一个实验，把海洛因埋到一个地方，同时放出二条狗，它们几乎在同一时间就找到了海洛因。中国的警察说：它们一样啊！对方说等一会儿再看，于是做了第二次实验。这次放出二条狗的时候，在中途又放出了一条非常漂亮的母狗。价值十万元的那条狗，很快地跟着母狗跑了，再也不去找海洛因了。而价值一百万的那条狗，根本不去管那条母狗，一直坚持把海洛因找到。天才就是那个价值一百万的狗。两条狗表面上没有什么区别，它们都那么威猛，嗅觉都那么灵敏，都能找到那个东西。我与好多朋友也像是这样。不过，我仅仅是那条非常专注的、不去追逐漂亮母狗的警犬而已。

超越就是这样。真正地超越必须有一个大的胸怀、大的境界。你不要觉得你的超越，只是找到一个小小的目标，买到一个小小的房子，不是这样的。我们要找的东西是岁月毁不掉的东西。就是当你死亡来临之后，你仍然存在的一种价值。我们追求的是这种东西。当一个人的人格完善后，就会超越许多二元对立，就是刚才我说的高低、好坏、贫富等等。为什么呢？因为这些东西对于你来说，相对于你活着的理由来说没有什么意义。只要你有一颗明白的心，守住你非常明白的目标，这时候你的心灵就得到了自由。这种自由不是外部世界给你的，而是你心灵本身发出的一种光明。我们追求的正是这样一种出世间法。什么是世间法？什么是出世间法呢？世间法就是当你的肉体消失之后，你所有的行为价值也随之消失。比如你当上了科长，在你死时，或一退休时，科长这个位置就消失了，价值也消失了；你好不容易当上了县长，在你死的时候县长这个官也没了，别人当了；你好不容易买到一个房子，死的时候房子也成别人的了，等等。这些东西都不是我们追求的。凡是依托你的肉体存在的东西，就是世间的东西。出世间法就是当你的肉体消失之后，你的行为仍然有价值。
