近日，中国作家雪漠尼泊尔语书信集《爱，不曾远离》在加德满都出版发行。此书由尼泊尔阿尼哥协会前主席、著名汉学家萨尔波塔姆•什雷斯塔(Dr. Sarbottam Shrestha)先生翻译完成。这是雪漠出版发行的第二部尼泊尔语版作品。

Recently, the Chinese writer Xue Mo's Nepalese epistles " Love in Proximity " was published in Kathmandu. The book was translated by Dr. Sarbottam Shrestha, a famous Sinologist and former chairman of the Nepal Arniko Society. This is the second work in Nepali published by Xuemo.

《爱，不曾远离》原中文名为《见信如面——莎尔娃蒂的情书》，英文名为《"Love in Proximity》。中文版《见信如面》已由中国大百科全书出版社于2017年8月出版。如今，《见信如面》已经被翻译为英语、法语、尼泊尔语三种语言。

The original Chinese name of " Love in Proximity", was literally "see the letter as face -- Sharwadi 's love letter", and the English name was "love in proximity". The Chinese version of "see the letter as face" was published by Encyclopedia of China Publishing House in August, 2017. Today, The book has been translated into English, French and Nepali till date.

《爱，不曾远离》中莎尔娃蒂的三十六封情书，摘自雪漠长篇小说《无死的金刚心》（The Holy Monk and the Spirit Woman）。《无死的金刚心》主要写了千年前人类历史上的一位文化大师琼波浪觉去印度、尼泊尔求法的历程。他比唐朝的玄奘晚了二百多年，传承了一百五十多位大师的教法，是诸多文化的集大成者，被称为“西域玄奘”。

" Love in Proximity", Sharwadi 's thirty-six love letters are extracted from Xue Mo's novel “The Holy Monk and the Spirit Woman”. “The Holy Monk and the Spirit Woman” mainly describes the journey of Khyungpo Naljor, a cultural master in human history, who went to India and Nepal to seek Dharma thousands of years ago. More than 200 years later than Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty, he inherited the teachings of more than 150 masters. He is a master of many cultures and is called "Xuanzang of the Western region".

他在尼泊尔朝圣的过程中，遇到了退位女神莎尔娃蒂，两人产生了真爱，于是在相互往来的情书中演绎了一段凄美的爱情故事。在这个缺乏真爱和信仰的时代里，莎尔娃蒂的三十六封情书，浪漫而富有诗意，契合了很多人对真爱的一种追求。

看到莎尔娃蒂的情书，很多人自然会想到中国西藏仓央嘉措的情诗。那么，莎尔娃蒂写的是不是情书呢？雪漠说：“是，也不是。是，因为它有着爱的缠绵，爱的相思，爱的柔情，有着所有情书的外相，但如果抛开这所有的表相，我们深入其中，便可看到另一道风景。莎尔娃蒂在病痛和相思中，是以写情书的形式实现了生命的一种升华。她将所有的一切都当成了灵魂的历炼，将小爱升华为了一种信仰，这是她的情书的真正意义。”

Seeing Sharwadi's love letter, many people naturally think of the love poems of cangyang Gyatso in Tibet, China. So, Is Sharwadi writing a love letter? Xue Mo said, "No, it is not. Of course, it has the lingering love, love Acacia, love tenderness, and the external appearance of all love letters. But if we put aside all the external appearance, we can go deep into it and see another scenery. Sharwadi realized a sublimation of life in the form of writing love letters in her illness and lovesickness. She took everything as the experience of her soul and sublimated her little love into a belief. This is the true meaning of her love letter. "

对于此书在尼泊尔出版，作家雪漠希望读者能从这本小书中，从莎尔娃蒂的情书中，看到在爱的历炼中，莎尔娃蒂是如何实现升华的，从而让我们读懂爱，明白爱，学会爱，在爱的笃定中，我们的生命定然会焕发出另一种光彩，实现另一种大的超越。

2019年4月，作家雪漠受邀参访尼泊尔，在此期间，雪漠参加了由阿尼哥协会主办的演讲活动，并与塔姆先生就翻译《爱，不曾远离》双方达成合作意愿。作品翻译完成之后，因为受新冠疫情的影响，直至今天才得以顺利出版。

In April 2019, Writer Xuemo was invited to visit Nepal. During this period, Xue Mo participated in a symposium sponsored by the Arniko Society for a speech. During the programme Writer Xuemo reached a cooperation intention with Dr. Sarbottam Shrestha for Nepali translation of "Love in Proximity". After the translation, the works were successfully published lately now due to the impact of the COVID-19.

塔姆先生是文化研究者，精通尼泊尔语、尼瓦尔语、印度语、中文、英语五种语言。他已经翻译了多部中国作家作品，都已在尼泊尔出版发行。同时，他还为 86年版的中国电视连续剧《西游记》《李小龙传奇》及电影《大唐玄奘》等做了诸多影视字幕翻译，也都已经在尼泊尔电视台播映。

As a cultural researcher, Mr. Sarbottam is proficient in five languages: Nepali, Newari or Nepalbhasa, Hindi, Chinese and English. He has translated many works of Chinese writers, all of which have been published in Nepal. At the same time, he also translated many subtitles for the 86 year version of the Chinese TV series “Journey to the West”, “Legend of Bruce Lee“ and the movie"Xuan Zang", which have also been broadcast on Nepalese television.

谈到翻译此书的心得时，塔姆先生说：“我认为雪漠先生的这部作品对尼泊尔当代读者来讲，将是一种比较新鲜的阅读体会。这部小说的一些地方类似于诗歌，又不是传统意义上的诗歌，这种结构中典故很多，表达很朦胧。我在中国古典汉语文学作品中见过类似的文体，但是在尼泊尔文学作品中极为罕见。翻译这种文体的过程相当困难，经过极大的努力翻译成尼泊尔语后，也会给尼泊尔读者一些朦胧的感受，我相信阅读原文后读者的这种朦胧感和尼泊尔语译文的朦胧感之间不会有太大的区别。”

When talking about the experience of translating this book, Mr. Sarbottam said: "I think Mr. Xue Mo's work will be relatively a new reading experience for contemporary Nepalese readers. Some parts of this novel are similar to poetry, but not poetry in the traditional sense. There are many allusions in this structure, and the expression is very vague. I have seen similar styles in Chinese classical Chinese literary works, but they are extremely rare in Nepalese literary works. The process of translating this style was quite difficult. After great efforts to translate it into Nepali, it will also give Nepalese readers some hazy feelings. I believe that there will not be much difference between the readers' hazy feeling after reading the original text and the hazy feeling of the Nepalese translation. "

目前，雪漠作品已翻译或正在翻译为英语、德语、法语、俄语、韩语、日语、尼泊尔语、西班牙语、阿拉伯语等30多种外文语言，出版的外文作品已有40多种版本。其中，《雪漠小说精选》的翻译版本最多，目前已经被翻译成16种语种。尼泊尔语版《雪漠小说精选》由著名作家Malla K. Sundar先生翻译完成，主流媒体Kantipur Daily报纸曾刊登过专题性评论文章。

At present, Xuemo's works have been translated or are being translated into more than 30 foreign languages such as English, German, French, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Nepali, Spanish and Arabic, and more than 40 versions of foreign language works have been published. Among them, “Selected Stories by Xuemo” has the most translated versions and has been translated into 16 languages. The “Selected Stories by Xuemo” in Nepali was translated by Mr. Malla K. Sundar, a famous writer. Kantipur daily and Himal Monthly Magazine, the mainstream media, had published special commentary articles on the book.
