A Brief Introduction of “Yidam”(7)
If you want to fully experience and received the baptism of the dharma dew of the Creation Stage, you must first be a practitioner who respects the Buddhist spirit and keeps faraway from the worldly greed, anger, and foolishness.
A book called Tibet Tantra Real Trace mentions many kinds of achievements of Yidam dharma:
Achievement is a world with wide meaning. Achieving the required state of a certain mantra, a certain dharma, or ritual program of a specific volume of dharma can be called achievement. Here, achievement refers to the achievement stage of various different statuses on the path of liberation from birth and death to the other bank. For example, meditating Four-armed Chenrezig, one can hold mantra to correspond, entering the state of holding mantra Samei status, attaining “heart arising from no residence”. This is the first achievement of Four-armed Chenrezig. But one should keep meditating on Four-armed Chenrezig until one’s own flesh body can transform into splendid Chenrezig, subduing Three Kingdoms, unobstructable and with myriad god abilities. This achievement is higher than the first achievement, but it is not the highest achievement. The highest achievement should be: from enlightening morality, enlighten to the status of the perfect stage, I am the nature of Chenrezig, there is no difference between dharma nature and origin, my own status is called Chenrezig. This is the perfect achievement of Four-armed Chenrezig.
The Yidam meditated in Anuttara Yoga of Tibetan Buddhism are mostly called “Vajra (Jin-gang)”. [Because there are gangsters in the novel of Wood Sea Snow Prairies called “Eight Great Jingang”, people have a misunderstanding of “Vajra”.] Vajra are mostly the angry body manifested by Buddha and Bodhisattva. The Vajra 13th Bhumi is Buddhahood. Explanations regarding this will be made according to situations in later text.
