Xue Mo, was born Liangzhou Gansu Province in 1963, top notch Chinese writer, bearing Shangpa Kagyu heritage of Tibetan Buddhism, a Mahamudra yogis, and serves as the dean of Guangzhou Shangpa Kagyu Culture Institute.

   Xue Mo has two identities: writer and yogis. Xue Mo is a famous writer, created the spiritual biography " Desert Trilogy" ("A Cult of Vast Desert", "Hunting Ground" and "White Tiger’s Gate" ) representing western farming civilization and "Soul Trilogy "( "Curse of Xi Xia", "the Wolf of Xi Xia", "Eternal Vajrasattva") which are the soul pioneering works of contemporary literature through Tibetan Buddhism, " These books were in "Mao Dun Literature Award" finalists, won “the Third Feng Mu Prize for Literature”, “Shanghai Excellent Works Award For Long Novella "and a dozen of other major awards. In the seminar organized by the Chinese Writers' Association in 2011 for Xue Mo, critics agreed that, Xue Mo is "seriously underestimated", the writer deserves "being able to enter the vision of world literature".

Xue Mo is also a yogis retreating for more than 20 years practicing Mahamudra, as the inheritor of Shangpa Kagyu linage of Tibetan Buddhism, he is known as "the father of contemporary Mahamudra", "Contemporary Dharma”. Xue Mo has clear answers to the questions regarding the spirit confusion and soul anxiety of Chinese people after getting material prosperity from the stand point of traditional Buddhism wisdom. He has published the monograph " The Ningtee of Mahamudra" and "Mahamudra Series" ("Mahamudra – Instant Enlightening, Mahamudra-Essence and Practice, Mahamudra- Understands the life and death", etc.), and went to Collège de France, the French Scholar Society and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Central University for Nationalities, Fudan University Shanghai Jiaotong University and other research institutions and universities for cultural speech, aroused strong repercussions and widespread attention.

Xue Mo works doggedly think about the life and soul of the people writing the deepest wisdom of the Chinese people, the most tenacious survival and a clean conscience.
